"All American Carolyn”

Carolyn has been coaching BISC since 2001. She has also coached the Seattle Club masters program, and was an assistant swim coach for Arizona Marlins Swim Club.

Carolyn was a Collegiate Swimmer at Arizona State University, All American Collegiate Swimmer and Team Captain and graduated from Arizona State with a degree in Elementary Education

LEILANI TONSMANN

Assistant Coach

"Leilani Tonsmann"

Leilani currently assists with our novice groups focusing on stroke development/refinement. Teaching children in and out of the pool is her passion. Along with coaching BISC swimmers she also works as a parks department swim instructor. She holds a BA in Education from Arizona State where she swam competitively from 1984-87. After graduating she taught elementary school for 8 years and concurrently obtained her MA in Education from CWU. She has previously coached summer league swimmers in Arizona and Washington and has obtained her ASCA Level 2 status as a coach.
