Bainbridge Island Swim Club (BISC) is a year round competitive swim
team appropriate for swimmers age 6 & over. Our coaches develop
a rigorous training schedule suitable for each of the age group
swimming levels.
Technique instruction, goal development and nutrition discussions
are incorporated into the weekly workouts.
As a member of BISC you are encouraged to register as a member of
USA Swimming which
allows you to compete in a variety of local and regional swim
meets. As a Western Washington swim team, BISC is a member of
the Pacific Northwest Swimming
Local Swim Committee (LSC). In conformance with USA Swimming we
compete in Region 12 which also includes Inland Empire, Montana,
Oregon, and Snake River LSCs. We are farther aligned into the
Western Zone. Some years additional travel meets beyond our zone
and regional borders may be offered for swimmers who wish to
compete representing BISC and have achieved the high time
standards.
